2023 is an important year for the Salice Blu Restaurant in Bellagio.
On August 16, the Gandola family celebrates the first 50 years of history of its restaurant strongly linked to the territory of Lake Como.
A presence in the Larian landscape that has its roots in the philosophy of the founder chef Mino Gandola, with his wife Flora, then transmitted to his son Luigi, now chef patron together with his wife Camilla restaurant bellagino.
A cuisine focused on authenticity and knowledge of raw materials and their enhancement and dissemination: lake fish, vegetables from the garden, aromatic herbs, local cheeses and, last but not least, truffles.
The years spent shoulder to shoulder with his father Mino in via per Lecco 33 in Bellagio, always home of the Blue Willow, served the young Luigi to learn secrets and anecdotes of local products. Teachings that have become the cornerstones of the innovative menu that since 2005 bears the signature of the inspiration of chef and sommelier Luigi Gandola.
The Gandola family intends to celebrate its fifty years of culinary history with its customers through a series of events organized in fascinating and particular locations throughout the territory of Lake Como.
