Welcome to the culinary heart of Lake Como, where the story of our Bellagio restaurant, Salice Blu began on 16th August 1973. The unbreakable connection between our passion for good food and profound respect for Lake Como has shaped our gastronomic path from the start.

The Salice Blu is much more than just a Bellagio restaurant: here traditions intertwine with creativity, creating a unique culinary experience. Founded by Mino Gandola and his wife, Flora, in 1973, Salice Blu is a marriage of love, dedication and authenticity, passed on from one generation to another.

Today, their son Luigi Gandola proudly carries this inheritance forward, adding the creative touch that continues to impress the palates of clients from all over the world. In our restaurant we not only serve extraordinary dishes, we offer a sensory journey celebrating the cuisine and region of Como.

Luigi Gandola, Chef Patron of Salice Blu Bellagio restaurant since 2005, is also well known for his appearances on TV, and has turned his passion for local ingredients into a profession. Lake Como and the mountains around it have always been his inspiration.
